My passion lies in aiding children and young adults with special needs, facilitating strategies for regulation. I firmly believe regulation surpasses expectation. Understanding the underlying reasons for behavior is pivotal in my practice. With a robust foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a track record of impactful interventions, I am dedicated to enhancing lives through evidence-based practices.

My Background

Bringing over 15 years of dedicated experience in direct work with children and families, alongside six years of specialization in behavior analysis, I offer a unique blend of knowledge and empathy to each interaction.

My journey began with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family sciences, fostering a profound comprehension of child development and family dynamics. This led me to engage with military families, embarking on an internship in the Middle East at a child development center in Manama, Bahrain. Subsequently, I found myself in San Diego, CA, commencing my ABA journey as a Registered Behavior Technician in 2018. This foundational knowledge fueled my aspiration to positively influence children’s lives, prompting me to pursue a master’s degree in psychology.

Throughout my academic pursuit, I became increasingly intrigued by behavior science’s implications for understanding human behavior. This curiosity propelled me to obtain a Post-Master’s Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, specializing in evidence-based interventions for individuals with diverse neurodevelopmental needs. In 2024, I became a credentialed service provider as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) under the guidance of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. 

Over the years, I have been privileged to work with children across various settings, spanning schools, clinics, child development centers, youth programs, and homes. Each encounter has enriched my comprehension of the unique challenges faced by children and families, reinforcing my commitment to delivering compassionate and effective support.

My approach is firmly grounded in ABA principles, emphasizing collaboration, individualization, and data-driven decision-making. Whether crafting personalized behavior intervention plans, conducting functional assessments, or providing parent training and support, I am steadfast in empowering children and families to realize their full potential.
